Subject: Let us not ?Kulshalize? the Burco riot
(kalshaaleis a name of a place which a small incident happened but because of the miss-management of Siilanyo?s administration, created ?Buhudle? unrest, and later created the so called ?khaatumo? state)
Somaliland Watch Group is concerned of the wide spread discontent and distrust the people show against their government. The latest incident in Burco is an example of these
We however, like to contribute the following suggestions:
1- The government must not react to the incident as they usually do in many other incidents. They must instead respond to it.
2- Do not take this incident as a challenge to the government or the Presidency, take it as a teachable moment, learn from it then resolve the problem (justly) in the right way.
3- Do not attack the complainers, attack what they are complaining from and resolve it accordingly reasonably
4- Bring those who shot and killed innocent civilians who were exercising their constitutional right peacefully to justice, as well as those who ordered them to use life ammunition. This is not the first time innocent civilians were killed by the police, it happens regularly and it must stop.
Most of the ministers are ?Guulwadayaal? and ?Guulwade? is never part of any durable solution or any resolutions at all. The authentic traditional elders can be the right choice.
However peace and prayers
