Siilanyo’s defiant turn to defy the Constitution, Reject Consultation and insist to stay in office beyond his contract no matter what shows three things:
a) lack of consciousness of God- Void of ‘Taqwa’. Taqwa is a shield between the servant of God-the person and evils. Conscience of God or ‘Taqwa’ pushes the person to do righteousness, but When Taqwa is absent or became weak in the heart of individuals like the case of Somaliland leadership, nothing will stop them and protect them from wrongdoing and that is why they do wrong thus cause harm (to the cause, the country and the people).
b) That there are no serious Opposition Parties with backbone, with principles and with guts to challenge the wrong, take the hard decision and lead the people to save them and the country
c) The now illegitimate Presidency hold the peace and stability of Somaliland as a hostage. They Scare-off the people. They scold the people to keep the peace which they the expired government are dismantling! They activated the goons and the ‘Gulwadayaal’ who are confronting the righteous. It is all chaos waiting to explode.
In Somaliland’s sad contemporary history, always few people drag the Mother in to oblivion with out consulting the people.
In 1960 the (few) people who took Somaliland in to the dark hole did so because of sheer ignorance coupled with and influenced by nationalistic emotions for what they did and what they did not do.
In 2015 the very few people dismantling Somaliland are doing so by sheer greed, lack of conscience, ignorance and arrogance. Furthermore some of them seem doing it with intent to cause harm because of the veracity and passion they showed in executing their agenda. In both cases and in both times the people were/are spectators of their future manipulated, compromised and diminished to the deck!
In 2015 absence of ‘Taqwa’ is evident. And where there is absence of ‘Taqwa’ there is absence of conscience and where there is absence of conscience there will be absence of Allah’s mercy and we seeing it happening in Somaliland.

Siilanyo’s insistence to stay beyond his term in office with out constitutional validity is not only betrayal, it is treasonous first class. It happened because of absence of conscience which is absence of ‘Taqwa’. In silence Siilanyo may be saying “even the two years extensions are not enough for me to complete my agenda” (what ever that means!). In secret or in silence he may be saying,” I thought you were better than what you are doing or not doing you people! I thought you understood that we don’t intend to hold elections and if we do you were supposed to understand that we will sure take it all.” In translation Siilanyo and Suleiman Gaal may be saying. “Let us finish-off Somaliland as planed even though we are not doing that?!”
When a government is not for the people but for their pockets, When government dismantles public institutions which they did, when government disregards the constitution of the country which they did when government sacks in mass the Supreme Court judges who disagreed the government’s illegal actions regarding political parties to hold conferences which they did, then that government is treasonous and ought to be confronted and the country must be saved from them before it is too late.
When the opposition and the people are not doing any thing about these evil activities then they are part and parcel of the problem. They are as bad or worse as the illegitimate- government of Siilanyo. They are as much sinful as Siilanyo and Suleiman Gaal are. Every body is void of ‘Taqwa’ in this ‘theatre of the absurd!’  (Note: Only Madasha is the conscionable party in this unfortunate point of history. Sure there are other conscionable people like Sheik Abdillahi Sheik Ali Johar and Sheik. Saaro and of course others)

Definition of Taqwa:

“In a Quranic context, Taqwa refers to ‘fear of Allah’ in terms of protecting oneself from displeasing Allah by doing evil things.”

“As Taqwa is often translated as ‘fear of God’, the real essence of Taqwa is ‘fear’ of doing ‘Haram’ out of neglect or disregard of Allah’s orders. Greed, hatred or enmity towards a fellow human, pride, etc. are all examples of such traits that hurt a believer’s Taqwa” Unfortunately our leaders indulge all these sinful things like greed, pride, hatred or enmity towards some people or some sectors of their people. By doing these there is a total absence of Taqwa in our leaders particularly the present government.

Taqwa grows with the increase of faith in the heart of a believer until they become convinced that Allah watches everything they do, and each word they say. This is the stage of Taqwa, which is being God-Conscious.” (From Islamic insight)
The God consciousness is not there in our government and the people are not better in so far they are by standers in this situation. Taqwa is a shield between the person and evils; it also is a reason for sustenance and removing hardships

If Taqwa is found in the heart of the individuals Taqwa is a shield between him and evils and it is pushing him to do righteousness, but When Taqwa is absent or became weak in the heart of individuals like the case of Somaliland leadership, nothing will stop them and protect them from wrongdoing, and wrongdoing is what Somaliland leaders, their siphons, goons and ‘Guulwadayaal’are doing every day!

Taqwa is a reason for sustenance and removing hardships. Allah said in surat At-Talaq (verse 2 & 3 “Whoever has Taqwa, Allah prepares a way out for him. And He provides for him from sources he would never expect.
In another verse in surat At-Taw bah, (verse 36), Allah said, “But Know that Allah is with those who have Taqwa. Allah also said, “If you obtain Taqwa, He will grant you a criterion to judge between right and wrong. Remove from you all evil that may afflict you and forgive you.” And whoever has Taqwa, Allah will make their path easy.” Somaliland leadership is not taking note of what Allah told them to do and the consequences of not doing it. In fact we see the consequences of this happening to us right now.

Breach of trust and embezzlers of properties
Breach of trust and embezzlers of properties denounced in the Quran and in the traditions but they are still indulging it openly and with out bounds in Somaliland!
Surely Allah does not love the treacherous.” (Surah al-Anfāl 8:58)
Similarly the Qur’an says, “…but if one of you trusts another, then he who is trusted should deliver his trusts, and let him be careful (of his duty to) Allah, his Lord...” (Surah al-Baqarah 2:283) did Siilanyo and others in the Guurti and the Parlisment deliver the trust entrusted upon him? The answer is NO!
At another place the Divine Book states,
“Surely Allah commands you to make over trusts to their owners…” (Surah an-Nisā’ 4:58) The Holy Prophet (S) says:
“One who embezzles a property in his charge and does not deliver it to its owner and dies in such a condition, then he does not die in my community (he does not die a Muslim). When such a person meets Allah, He shall be infuriated with him. And one who purchases an embezzled property knowing that it is embezzled is just like the (actual) embezzler.” Another tradition states” And it will be ordered to throw him in the fire; he will remain in the deep pit of Hell forever.” The Prophet (S) is also reported to have remarked,” If one is Muslim, he must not practice deceit and defalcation., For I have heard from Jibrīl that deceit and cheating belong to hell.” Then he (S) continued
“One who cheats a Muslim is not from us, and one who embezzles the believers is (also) not from us.”
The following tradition is recorded in the book al-Kāfi: “There are Three qualities that are the sign of a hypocrite even if he prays and fasts and calls himself a Muslim: lying, violating promises and defalcation.”

Conclusion
Every society is held for its deeds. Somaliland leaders must be held for their deeds even when they do not care. That means actions always produce outcomes, thus doers are responsible for what they did and what they do. It means Idiotic actions results idiotic outcomes which in the end results destruction and mayhem and that was what happened to Somaliland in 1960 and that is what is happening in Somaliland all over again in 2015
We have seen that dreadful move before when few took free Somaliland state to the oblivion with out thinking the consequences of their action and with out the consent of the people. When the first Republic of Somaliland defied the law of consequences Somaliland paid that idiotic actions void of ‘Taqwa’ dearly in human and material loses in the hundreds of thousands of human loss and billions of dollars.
When one does evil he also allows evil to happen. Unconscionable people deceive the people of Somaliland and get their way in to power is some fashion or the other and then they reject to relinquish power peacefully and honorably unless undesired things happen.
May Allah give our people the wisdom and the courage to save their country from what is imminent
