SWG is here by extending its support to the New (Golaha Wada-tashiga iyo toosinta Qaranka) Salvation Council. They are on the right side of rescuing Somaliland while Mr. Siilanyo and his oligarchies are on the wrong side of it.

What is wrong with “wadatashi” for the sake of Somaliland to begin with, we wonder!?

Allah said in Alshura, “those who respond to their lord and establish regular prayers; who conduct their affairs by MUTUAL CONSULTATION; who spend out of what we bestow on them for sustenance.” That is for the common good, gained God’s bless.

What is wrong with conducting our affairs with consultation as Allah told us to do!?
That was all the Mujahedeen called for, and that was what Mr.Siilanyo rejected!
But Mr. Siilanyo does not own the government. The people own it. He was elected to serve and safeguard Somaliland. He dismally failed in that direction. He needs help!

The country and the people need help. Allah blesses any one who is out there to help. We believe that this “Gole” is trying to do that in conjunction with the principles, morals and laws Somaliland was founded in.

This council was initiated by the very people who initiated SNM and thereafter liberated Somaliland and founded this Republic. They are not the ‘belly and pocket people’ out there. The council manifested itself as the conscience of the nation. They know what is right and what is good for the nation from what is deceptive and destructive.
Authentic good leaders own their mistakes and listen to those who call them to correct their mistakes, but the President is (as reported) saying that he will not accept his deficiencies to be shown to him!
The council or “Gole” is for what Allah told us. The president is against what Allah told us in this consultation and unity thing!

The president misunderstood what a democratic government is all about!
Mr. Siilanyo thinks that once he was elected every thing belongs to him and his government. He created a situation where there is no check and balance. a) There is no functioning parliament) Forget about the house of Guurti. c) The judiciary was made an extension of the executive. That is not what a democratic government is all about.
Government must work for the interest of the governed and not for the interest of the governors. Siilanyo’s administration, automatically take the government as their own cash cow and their won property Mr. Siilanyo’s administration falls in to that categories of ‘governors owning the government it self as well as all the proceeds! Governed is treated in this situation as subjects with no say in their future! This is what this “Gole” is refuting. This is where Allah and the conscionable people of Somaliland disagree with Siilanyo and clique.

Allah said, “And hold fast all together by the Godly Rope which Allah stretches out for you and be NOT divided among your selves (al Omraan-v 103)
That is what the Council of collective consultation is calling for as well.
Again Allah told his servants; “let there arise out of you a band of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong: they are the ones to attain felicity, and be not like those who are divided among them selves and fall into disputations.” (Al omraan-104-105)

Siilanyo’s government is on the wrong side of this virtue! They act and conduct business as though the government is their own store and the people do not own the government and has nothing to do with what the government does! They don’t recognize that the people are the only legitimate owners of the government, but that legitimacy is not recognized in Siilanyo’s administration! They formed an oligarchy government instead!
And that is not acceptable to the people of Somaliland and this is what necessitated that Golaha Wada-tashiga has to do some thing about this and they did some thing. They called for Consultation Correction and Cooperation and Unity. What is wrong with that!?

We think it is unbecoming, and wrong on the part of the government to try to fight against the conscience of the nation, as this “Gole” represents the conscience of the nation. I think Mr. Siilanyo and his oligarchy government better redirect their threat to those who are threatening the existence of Somaliland instead of threatening the founders of Somaliland.
We call Mr. Siilanyo and his aids, to come back to their sense, to their people, and to what are right for the nation. We call them to respect this virtuous call and make the best use of it.
